Meet The Pastor's Wife
Hey there! I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m Becky—wife to Chris (we’re coming up on 26 years!), mom to three pretty incredible kids: Gabe (21), Isaiah (20), and Shelby (13). I’ve worn a lot of hats over the years—pastor’s wife, cake decorator, youth leader, chauffeur, laundry folder, and the unofficial CEO of “What’s for Dinner?”
I’ve been serving in my local church since I was 16, and for the last 9 years, I’ve had the privilege (and wild ride) of being a pastor’s wife. Before that, my husband and I spent over a decade in youth and young adult ministry, learning all the ways God shows up in the lives of young people—and in the lives of two young leaders just trying to follow His call.
I’ve been both a stay-at-home mom and a working mom. I even spent 13 years baking and designing wedding cakes from home, trying to balance flour-covered counters with sippy cups and marching band practice. That season taught me a lot—but mostly that rest is necessary. Eventually, I stepped away from the business so I could be more present with my family. Because seasons change, and sometimes saying “yes” to your family means saying “no” to something else.
I don’t have it all figured out. (If you do, please share your notes!) But I do know this:
My family deserves the best version of me—and so does God.
He’s been faithful in every season. His grace has covered every one of my messes (and I’ve had plenty), and His love has never once failed me.
“And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’”
—2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV)
Over the years, God has stirred my heart over and over again for girls and women. From teenagers navigating identity to mamas trying to hold it all together with dry shampoo and a whispered prayer—I see you. Because I am you.
For the last couple of years, I’ve felt God nudging me to step out of my comfort zone and pour into women in a new way. That’s what The Pastor’s Wife is all about: loving on, encouraging, and equipping women to serve their families well—without losing their own identity in the process.
Being a wife and mom is holy work.
It’s also messy, exhausting, hilarious, and beautiful.
You’re not alone in it. And you’re not meant to be.
Let’s be women who:
Encourage instead of compete.
Pray for our husbands and call out the God-given purpose in them.
Nurture our children—not just with snacks and structure, but with truth and grace.
Speak life over ourselves and each other.
Make space for God in the chaos.
Because our kids are watching. And what we model matters.
“Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it.”
—Proverbs 22:6 (NKJV)
You don’t have to do it all perfectly. You just have to stay close to Jesus—and link arms with women who are doing the same.
So whether you’re here for a little encouragement, a good laugh, or a reminder that you still matter—welcome.
You belong here. 💛
